As a writer, I demonstrated the ability to deliver clean, creative copy and informative news
pieces under tight deadlines as well as write engaging feature stories and compelling columns.
As an editor at North Shore Weeklies, I managed a staff of seven full-time reporters and
designed the page layouts.
Prior to moving into corporate communications, I worked as a journalist for 18 years,
writing and editing for a variety of publications.
In addition to two of the three largest newspapers in Massachusetts – the Boston Globe
and Patriot Ledger – I worked for suburban daily and weekly papers, magazines, trade
journals and wire services.
I’ve worked in corporate communications since 1998, writing news pieces for newsletters,
magazines and trade journals. I’ve ghost-written columns for directors and CEOs. I can
write about virtually anything, utilizing interviewing and research skills honed through my
journalism career.
