Consortium for Energy Efficiency
As Communications Director at the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) from 1998-2007, I wrote, edited and designed
newsletters, reports, fact sheets, press releases, brochures and other communications materials.
At CEE, I implemented dozens of publicity projects that raised the organization's profile through media placements in trade
journals, energy publications and newspapers such as the New York Times and San Francisco Chronicle.
I also served as Webmaster of the CEE Web site, writing, editing and organizing all the content.
Since 2007, I have been the Communications Coordinator for the Melrose Energy Commission
(MEC), a volunteer group that helps the city and its citizens save energy.
I have successfully promoted many MEC events, including the Green Buildings Open House Tour,
Go Green Event, the Melrose Energy Fair, the Green Buildings Open House Tour and the Melrose
Energy Challenge.
By placing stories in the Boston Globe, local Melrose newspapers and other media outlets, I've been able to disseminate
important information and help mobilize the community to take important action, such as Melrose's recent designation as a
Green Community. My MEC work includes community outreach, marketing materials and photography.
I also designed and developed the new MEC Web site (www.melroseenergy.org).
As a communications consultant in 2009, I improved the company profile by upgrading the Web site content and organization,
developing case studies and writing press releases and blogs. I also designed marketing collateral such as brochures and fact
sheets.
Integrated Green provides consulting services and economical solutions for sustainable building projects, including construction
