Vinfen Corporation
At Vinfen Corporation (2008-2009), I combined my human
services know-how with communications expertise, serving as
Senior Communications and Public Affairs Specialist. I helped raise
the profile of Vinfen, a large nonprofit human services
organization, with placements in the Patriot Ledger, Boston Globe
and many other local media outlets.

Through my writing, editing and public relations work at Vinfen, I cultivated relationships with supporters,
sponsors and donors. I also wrote, edited and coordinated design of The Voice, the organization's quarterly
newsletter, and developed a Web version which was e-mailed to large audiences.
In addition, I served as Webmaster for the Vinfen Web site (www.vinfen.org), with a focus on keeping content
fresh, adding new pages and photos, and driving more traffic to site. I supported Vinfen staff by writing,
editing and designing brochures, annual reports, fact sheets, speeches and other materials as well as
assisting with development and crisis management.
